FAQs

Frequently Asked Questions

How long does approval take?

Most applications are reviewed within 3–5 working days. You'll receive an email once a decision is made.

Is any part of my savings or financing interest-based?

No. The Society operates strictly on non-interest, Shari'ah-compliant principles — savings, financing and investment are all structured to be free of riba.

When can I apply for a loan facility?

Eligibility depends on the facility — Ordinary, Emergency and School Fees loans each have their own qualifying period and terms, explained during application. See Products & Services for details.

Can I leave the cooperative and withdraw my savings?

Yes. Members may resign with written notice; savings and any accrued profit-share are settled according to the cooperative's bye-laws.

Is my BVN required?

BVN is optional and only requested where relevant to a specific facility — it is never a condition for basic membership.
